I just got back from my cottage and here's some of the pictures that were taken while I was there for the weekend.

Who wants to fall down and cry? Wail? Bemoan my trials and tribulations of the weekend? Although come to think of it, the weekend was fun, it was the travelling that was ....trying, and tribul-ing? *Shaking my head* But anywhore.

I was blessed by the Hell-cat that is known as Scooter. I say Hell-cat with affection, as I have named my own cat "Little Shit", She's a beautiful kitten with the siamese personality, and playful with it. Which of course means she's vicious about it. I love her.....

Jen and I had a blast, watching cute penguins being born and a really really bad B movie spin off of Club Dread with supermodels with names like Hoo Chi, and Yo, and darby, and we mustn't forget "Ava, the # one ranked supermodel, Mwah!" of course said with a heavy ....accent of some kind. And of course just to please Jen I brought Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Yes I realize these movies come out on Tuesday and not this weekend but I work in a video store and am able to view the movies prior to the release date to be able to tell the customers what I think of the title they choose.

March of the Penguins : Awesome! Cute and Sad, but Awesome. I love penguins.
Death to the Supermodels: Bad B-movie spin on Club Dread, but hilarious with the bad-ness.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith: Hi action, good action, good story line....altogether, not bad.
Sky High: Cornily Awesome! I mean there was much overacting and the bloopers were not so good but it was pretty neat to see how they did the stunts and that they let the kids do some/most of their own stunts. Everyone loves a superhero movie....at least I do.
Their Eyes Were Watching God: more to come on this title as I have yet to see it.

We also had a blast making dinner and then making our christmas ornaments....or slightly expensive ornaments then again maybe not I just used a calculator and each ornament should only be about 6 bucks....wow was I off.....heh heh, I won't tell you what I thought it was. They turned out really well and one of us should have a posting with the pictures if you so desire to view them.

I am....extremely exhausted now and very much so wish to get to bed, crawl beneath the covers and dream away this nightmare of a night the traveling has made it.

Maybe I should have waited to come home until the morning. Who knows?

Ok, So I bought myself an early Birthday gift. A very large Birthday gift. I spent more on this gift than on books...no...more than on my last 5 birthday gifts put together. (I don't even remember what most of them were,) I do know that I had a hard time spending 30$ on my last one. And today at approximately 4:50 I purchased my first leather jacket for myself.

297 and some spare change later, I have a gorgeous animal hide coat that is so warm! And comes complete with a fake fur collar that can be removed. *Giggles,* I'm so happy! I know a lot of people are all "eugh! You're wearing something's skin!" Well, at least I'm choosing to use all the parts of an animal I eat.

I think I would have done well as a...native american (Is that the term now?) Too bad I'm so pasty white and irish/scottish looking. You know, what with the red hair and blue-grey eyes.

Hmm, I 'm very content and happy now. It's strange what a release it is to buy something just for you, just for the sake of having it (although I did need a nice coat), perhaps someday you shall experience the joy of that nervous pit in the bottom of you stmoach that rather feels like a lead ball. Then of course the wonderful release of the endorphins. Wow! Such A rush.

Well, I'm off to try and finish The Order of the Phoenix....just so I can re-read The Half blood Prince. Ahhh Harry, what would we do without you?

The following post will, not may but will, contain information on the new Harry Potter movie. It will contain a brief synopsis of moments throughout the movie. If you don't want to know anything about the movie before you see it.

BLOODY WELL LEAVE!!!

That is my disclaimer....uhm....end disclaimer?...

Ok, So I'm just back from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was most enjoyable.

They left sooo much out!!!! And it was still 3 hours long, but they left soo much out!!!!

It was most enjoyable. There was a lot more humour thrown into this one then in the others. In the third movie it was, quirky humour, which may be one reason as to why I like it so much...c'mon the little Jamaican shrunken head guy in the bus!? And Ernie? It's awesome!

It was however a lot darker than the first two movies, again another reason why I enjoyed it . The plot line was darker, and the movie was darker accordingly in my opinion.

I get the feeling with GOF they tried to lighten it up too much. Maybe to make up for the darkness of the third or the darkness of the end of the movie, to balance it out or something. Whatever the case, It...didn't flow as nicely in my opinion.

Not too mention the stuff they missed or flumoxed in order to make it fit the three hours time period.

And the loose ends, one second they're showing Barty Crouch Jr in the middle of a court hearing getting ratted out as a Death Eater, after which you know he was sentenced to Azkaban prison and then he's out and trying to kill Harry, I mean really, Can you not take 5 minutes to explain how he got out in the first place?

Does it really take so long to say that Barty's wife who was terminally ill, took the polyjuice potion after going into visit her dying son and gave her son the potion, thus switched places after which point Barty Sr. placed the Imperius curse on his own son to keep him in line, and slowly his son managed to break free of the curse and was able to escape back to Lord Voldemort?

I don't think so!

There was soo soo soo much that was different and the beginning was so different! I was floored at how much they changed. I understand why they changed it.

But did they really have to cut out Dobby? I mean, Dobby! He's the cutest house elf ever!

*Sigh,* I will have to see it at least once more to find out if I like it better than the third one or not. I will be seeing it with my sister I know that much, and I will probably be seeing it next weekend with jen when I travel to the 'loo to visit her. I hope we do anyway. I'll need to see it at least once more.

The effects were rather good, although I don't know why Harry Screams "I said No!" when the Grindylows are drowning him and then manages to propel his body up and out of the water. I don't know *shrugging my shoulders,*. Who can say?

I did enjoy it though.

I've pretty well got it done, my new skin is here, and I'm thinking of changing it already...*sheepish grin* Although the skin has given me an idea for another chapter of the sisters story posted on my blurty involving Hunter, a ball, and a really cool gown....we'll see how it goes though.

I can't figure out the tables and stuff so I'm thinking I'll have to go with something simpler. Unless Ash can work some magic for me, I'll show her the sites and what not and maybe then I'll have a "Not Under Construction" Site again....so...if you so wish you can still check out my main blurty here

Maybe one day I'll have a good site...Well ok, so I currently have three, one of which I love and the other two which are 'enh' mainly because I can't get the tables to work! Argh!

First and Foremost

As the first post it's bound to suck...I think they pretty well all do. I'm sorry for that. I'll pretty well be using this mostly for my poetry which I will be taking off my main journal (I'll link later).
Unless I later decide to use this as my main journal. I'm not sure what I'll decide, I like blogspot because you can alter things to suit yourself, you can't do that unless you shell out cash at Blurty. I can understand why they want to to make profit, I mean who doesn't like cash? Doesn't mean I have to like it though. If anyone wants to use my poetry they'll first have to ask me as I wouldn't appreciate anyone taking off with my work and getting published for it and leaving me out in the cold, oh yeah and that's called plagarism. So...it's wrong don't do it. There's your lecture for the day. Hope it's a good one!
